After your L4G participation ends, your L4G-associated SurveyMonkey account will be deleted from the L4G Enterprise team, which will delete all surveys within the account. Before your account is deleted — i.e., you are "offboarded" — you will either need to transfer your surveys to another SurveyMonkey account or export them to ensure you retain access to all your survey data.
This article provides guidance on how to transfer and export your SurveyMonkey data out of L4G’s shared Enterprise team, either to a separate SurveyMonkey account you purchase or out of SurveyMonkey entirely. If you have any questions, please reach out to L4G Support or SurveyMonkey Account Executive, Melissa Lavigne.

I want to transfer my surveys into a separate SurveyMonkey account. What type of SurveyMonkey accounts can I choose from?
SurveyMonkey offers two types of accounts: 1) individual/personal accounts that are designed for one account sign-in; and 2) team/business accounts that are designed for multiple users in order to facilitate collaboration on surveys. Across both individual and team accounts, there is a spectrum of lower to higher priced packages that have different features.
Review a summary of plans and learn more about the features and pricing of plans.
There is also a free option: the SurveyMonkey Basic plan. The Basic plan limits both the number of questions and responses you can receive — only 10 questions with a maximum of 25 responses per survey — and also has a limited set of features. Transferring existing surveys and data to an account using the Basic plan will limit your accessibility of past surveys — for example, you can only copy surveys with 10 questions or less. In order to view all your data and have access to paid features, you’ll need to upgrade.
What type of SurveyMonkey account do I need to continue to have access to multilingual tools?
SurveyMonkey’s multilingual surveys feature allows users to reach clients in the language clients are most comfortable with and then analyze results across languages in a single data set. Learn more about multilingual surveys.
In order to retain access to multilingual surveys, you need an Individual Premier, Team Premier, or Enterprise level account. Users can still create separate surveys in different languages — that upload into unique language-based datasets — on other plans. See details on the features associated with all plans.
What type of SurveyMonkey account is required to continue to be HIPAA compliant?
You will need to have an Enterprise account in order to maintain HIPAA compliance. If you plan on collecting personal health information and are required to be HIPAA compliant, please contact SurveyMonkey Account Executive, Melissa Lavigne, to get set up with a HIPAA-enabled Enterprise plan.
How can I get a nonprofit SurveyMonkey discount for my new SurveyMonkey account?
SurveyMonkey provides a discount for nonprofit organizations. To apply for the nonprofit discount, please complete this form and a SurveyMonkey representative will review and reach out to you with further details.
How do I mass transfer all the surveys from my L4G account to a SurveyMonkey account outside of the L4G Enterprise team?
Review SurveyMonkey's article on transferring single and multiple surveys to another account.
What happens to my access to L4G benchmarks when I leave L4G?
You will no longer have access to your L4G benchmarks once offboarded from your L4G-associated SurveyMonkey account.
You can gain access to SurveyMonkey benchmarks, aligning to SurveyMonkey’s custom question bank; however, this will not include any data specifically related to L4G. Learn more about SurveyMonkey’s benchmarks.
What do I need to do if I am no longer continuing on SurveyMonkey?
You will need to export your data out of SurveyMonkey to ensure you retain access to all your survey data.
